Dinner is served!!
I was just sitting here reflecting how our marriage has grown over the years. Scott left this morning for Kansas, just for one night, nothing crazy like weeks or months. He had to go visit a few stores and hopefully, there are no storms to be found in Kansas. We all remember what happened to my car after the HAIL storm this summer. You know, when Scott and I first were married, I would be so sad if he was gone, even just one night. When he was an IAMS (dog food) rep, he was traveling 3 weeks out of 5 and I HATED it. I was a nervous wreck with two small babies, day care, a new puppy and a husband that was hardly home. Without giving it much thought, he would call me and tell me the wonderful places he had just been and the delishous meal he had just gone to. He just wanted me to be so excited for him. I wasn't, nope, not at all. I had just changed countless diapers, held crying babies, delt with kids biting each other, and had just finished eating pancakes for dinner, not to mention the hives I was breaking out with on my sides due to the stress.
Now, 15 years later, it's nice to have a break from the usual routine. It's fix-it-yourself-night for dinner, the kids have total control of the remote and they will be going to be ON TIME, so I can have some quite time all to myself. Now don't get me wrong, I love going to bed with my husband (:, but there is just something about having a whole king size bed all to yourself once in a while. As a matter a fact, I will get to sleep diaganol AND have 2 pillows. So, having him gone for a few nights here and there, I really don't mind. Heres to sleeping diaganol and NOT having to fix dinner tonight!!

Have fun sleeping diagonally! :) I haven't gotten to where I sleep on his side of the bed yet. But I know I will in a couple of weeks. :)
I love your bed!! Super Comfy. Enjoy your time...it he will be home before you know it. Sleep tight.
What kind of bed did you guys get? We need to get one and are looking at getting one from Denver Mattress where you got yours. :)
I don't remember which set it was, but it was on the firmer side. One of these days we will get a really nice bed to go with our mattress set. (:
i am still in the hives phase of missing my hubby when he's out of town... and he made the mistake of accidentally calling his last business trip his "vacation" (!!) oops.
