"Christmas Cookies and Holiday Hearts..."

Christmas cookies and Holiday hearts, that's the way the Holiday starts. Christmas cookies and Holiday hearts, goody, goody, yum-yum-yum! "Mommy, Mommy, make a little more" all the children say. "Mommy, Mommy, make a little more, soon it's Christmas Day. HEY!" Christmas cookies and Holiday hearts, that's the way the Holiday starts. Christmas cookies and Holiday hearts, goody, goody, yum-yum. Goody-Goody Yum-Yum-YUM! We had so much fun decorating gingerbead men! The whole family got involved, including Grandma and Grandpa, who shared a few days with us. Of course I spent hours in the kitchen rolling out the little guys and making frosting (YA, RIGHT!!) We got the "kits" from Costco! Scott and I decided that it's all about the time well spent together, and the memories:) I'm learning that it's OK to be a no fuss, and more time kind of a girl. That has been hard to learn with my perfectionism attitude. I'm learning and change is good. We also had a wonderful taste test with Graeter's Ice Cream. We had 4 different flavors (raspberry chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, peppermint, and since we live in Ohio we had to try the Buckeye flavor) I think the Buckeye and RCC tied! YUM!!

Fun! I might have to get those gingerbread men next year. Sounds like more fun than the houses that never seem to stay standing after you've propped them up. :) And they taste better when you can eat them right away, instead waiting like you have to with the house. :)

That icecream sounds like heaven! You know how much I love icecream. :)
