Dalton's Baptism Day...

Last Saturday was a very special day in our family. Dalton was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is our belief that Christ payed the price for the original sin. Children of our faith are baptized, if they wish, at the age of 8 because children are not accountable for their sins until they learn right from wrong. We are proud of Dalton for taking this step. It is a spiritual expierence when you see your child dressed in white, entering the waters of baptism. Taking Scott's hand and witnessing a worthy husband and father administering the ordinece of baptism by immersion. Seeing our son, our last child coming out of the water with a smile on his face, my heart was a bit overwhelmed with gratitude. I'm greatful that the grandparents (Scott's parents, and mine) could be there to share Dalton's special day. After the baptism, we had a luncheon at our house, then went to the Nature Center for some outdoor splendor. Dalton's buddy, Jonathon was also baptized the same day, so we shared the day with his family as well.
