D.O.N.E.!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it's taken me 5 hours to finish my "at-home" history final. I actually think I do much better on tests when taken in class. The reason is this:
9:00 AM: Download exam and notice that there are 10 more questions than there should be!
9:10 AM: Organize my planner
9:30 AM: Complete questions 1-6
9:45 AM: clip my toenails (they really needed it)
10:00: eat one of Madisen's yummy brownies :)
10:05: complete questions 7-11
10:25: stop siblings from killing each other
10:30: sunscreen Dalton so he can go to the pool with the neighbor
10:40: eat tuna on crackers
10:50: complete questions 12-18
11:15: notice Makenah just colored a portion of her hair BLACK! (a small streak, I just looked at her and smiled because she knows I love her no matter what color her hair)
11:25: check my email
11:40: watch "What not to Wear" on TLC. The guest of honor was a preschool teacher who couldn't live without her Mickey shirts, come on, I couldn't miss that!!
12:20 complete questions 19-35 (my largest amount of progress thus far!)
1:00: grab a handfull of bite size mint flavored 3 Musketeer candy bars, (I think I ate about 10)
1:15: feeling the pressure to finally complete my test after I had wasted much of the morning, complete questions 36-50!
2:30 FINISHED!!
This is why you finish college in your early 20's!! So when you are stressed and you eat brownies because your beautiful daughter enjoys baking and they are just sitting there waiting for the next victim, and candy bars and junkfood, you can recover easily. It doesn't work like that when you are in your late 30's. Oh well, it is what it is and I better get my butt on that hampster wheel. I'm glad my Mr. History teacher will no longer cause anymore of my stress and weightgain. No, it's not the brownies fault!! Now I have about 5 weeks before I start the second half of the summer quarter. I have a life for the next 5 weeks, YEAH!!

YEA!!!! I just finished too! Turned in my last final (take home) this morning!! I only have 2 and a half weeks off before I start summer quarter! :(
Oh yeah, and I can TOTALLY relate with the stress!! During finals week I was either stuffing my face with the nearest junk food, or I had so much anxiety I couldn't eat!
tuna on crackers?? blech!
Congrats on getting it done! I don't like take-home exams either. It sounds good in theory, but what I really think is "MORE homework!?" Those mint flavored 3 Musketeers are so good...mmm now I want some! I must confess though, I already ate two full-size candy bars today (a Reese's Peanut Butter cups and a Milky Way). I'm a chocoholic and I always will be!
Glad you finally got it finished! It was great too finally meet you yesterday! I LOVE my Scentsy warmer! Our house smells awesome now!
I TOTALLY know how you feel! That is so me!! If my test isn't timed, I get so distracted. Even in class I will sit and think about what else I could be doing if I come to a tough question. I'm glad you are done for awhile though... it's a great feeling, isn't it?
