Wednesday was spent driving up to the Metro train and heading to the zoo for a few hours. We saw lots of birds, otters, deer, elephants, hippos, panda bears, gorrilas, monkeys, reptiles, wild cats and lots of other zoo animals. We didn't see the giraffes or tigers (we were all getting tired). We made our way out of the park, stopped at the 7-11 across the street for some drinks, then headed back to the metro. We decided that since it was pointless to sit on the freeway during rush hour traffic, we stopped for some dinner at a local diner before heading home. Thursday was going to be our early day, so we needed to get everyone to bed.
