I hosted a Stampin' Up workshop tonight and had some much needed fun. I had a rough start to the day and it was nice to occupy my mind with other things. My sweet husband took the kids for the evening. They grabbed some dinner and went swimming. It was so nice to have a girls night. We had a potato bar (Scott brought home some great cheesecakes - yummy)and then stamped away. I learned some fun techniques that, when I have some free time, I will be trying out. Before the workshop started, my husband put chocolates in my pocket for me to find.
Cute story of why he did that.
There was one of the Kindergarten teachers out on the playground the other day. I was doing recess duty with her and noticed, out of the blue, she was giggling. I had to walk over to her to find out why. She showed me she had candy and chocolate in her pockets, her husband had put them there for her to find. "He is such a romantic", she said. I thought that was so sweet, I shared the story with Scott. He must have really liked the idea. During the workshop I put my hands in my pockets -and there was chocolate. This was a great day for him to do that for me :)

I am sorry that I wasn't there on Thursday...It sounds like you didn't have a great day, and I am sorry about that. When I hear you talk about Scott, it makes me see what a wonderful marriage SHOULD be like. It is so beautiful how you two are still so in love with eachother. You are both so lucky to have each other.
