Fun in Cincinnati!!

We are blessed to have wonderful friends in the area. I was able to meet Scott in Cincinnati for the weekend to check out the new home. It is just how the pictures show, only better. Scott and I just had a great time!! It was really nice to know that our children were in safe and caring hands and that I could go relax for a weekend. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Cincinnati area is beautiful. It is so green and tree lined everywhere you look. Now that I have been there and had a small taste of the area, I must say, I am excited for this move!! Saturday was such a fun day. We walked through the new house and it is amazing. The neighborhood is just as great as where we live now. Schools are overcrowded, but still a great school district to be in. We were at the house for about an hour, then left to get some lunch. We were able to talk to our new neighbors for about 45 minutes before we actually left. :) Anyway, got ourselves some lunch and were off to shop for a new phone service and phones. We both ended up with a BlackBerry pearl, and it is a great little device that is so much more than a phone. Calendar keeping just got way too easy!! (as did grocery shopping, texting, internet access etc.) After shopping for phones, we changed to some nice clothes and we were off to a fun night in Cincinnati. We went to a very nice resturaunt called Nicholson's, right across the street from the theater. Great food, all decked out in Scottish decor -it was a wonderful place to go to dinner. After such a delishious meal, we walked across the street to the theater. Before I left Boise, I noticed that Disney's Broadway version of the Lion King was playing in Cincinnati. It is a show that I have been wanting to see for a number of years. We got tickets before I came out, and had great seats. What an amazing show, the costumes were breathtaking. I was so overwhelmed, I cried during the whole opening number. I couldn't believe that I was there. I can't really describe what I was feeling except sheer joy. With everything that is happening it's been a while since I have felt that. I was finally able to sit back and witness the joy that I have in my life, to have it reach down into my soul the way only music can. If you have not seen this musical yet, it is one you will never forget. The costumes and the puppeteering that was involved in putting a show on like this is a once in a lifetime expierence. Anyway, Scott and I had such a great day, one worth remembering forever

I'm glad you had a wonderful weekend! Sounds like fun. I'm so happy that you are excited about moving to a new place. The green area must be a nice change from the brown we have here. Thank heavens for this blog, so we dont' lose touch!
