Happy St. Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day to everyone! We had our delishious supper of Corned Beef and Cabbage. I'm telling you, boil your Corned Beef for 2 hours, then put it in the oven at 275 degrees for another 2 hours, delish!! (Make sure to trim the fat off the brisket though before you start the process) I keep the broth from boiling and just strain it, add carrots, potatoes, onion, the cubed corned beef (after baking), then add the cabbage for about the last 15 minutes just to steam. YUUUUMMMY. Serve with warm bread and you too can feel like you are in Ireland. We tried to end the evening by going to McDonalds for a Shamrock Shake. Our L.O.S.E.R. McDonalad's in Milford didn't have them. The manager said they didn't order the supplies for Shamrock Shakes. I told them they just ruined our Irish family tradition. We were forced to have egg nog shakes, McFlurries, and chocolate dipped ice cream cones. Why would they have egg nog flavored shakes in March anyway?

Too bad about the shamrock shakes! Looks like you had a fun day though. Your supper looks tasty too.
