SNOWFALL in Meridian

I really enjoy the snowfall here. It is enough that you see God's beauty, but it melts rather quickly here in the valley. I was very grateful to wake up to snow this morning. To drink a nice warm cup of tea and enjoy the beauty out my front window, and know that I don't need to go shovel. Oh, happy day for that. I also realized that with over 600 students trying to use the wet slides at school: there will be lots of cold, wet children. I am so happy that I am no longer a noon-duty. We most likely will have recess, as our children are hardly ever kept inside. Oh, how they love to play in the slushy snow. For now, I do enjoy the beauty out my front window, but look forward also to spring. Have a great day!!

Cool pics! I too love the snow. And to have it not stick on the streets and sidewalks is even better! The best kind of snow!

I agree with you about being able to see God's beauty all around us. How often do I get so busy and forget to look around me and enjoy the beauty...far too often! Thanks for your work this week and for the friendship. I'm glad that this week is going a little better.

I also enjoyed the flash of snow we had, but really that I knew it wouldn't stick around. I dislike shoveling. My prayer is and always will be, "If it needs to snow, let it fall only on the grass and mountains and stay off the streets."
