Makenah got her braces off last week and her teeth are beautiful. It's funny because she can't stop looking at them in the mirror. We have a large mirror that sits half way down the stairs and she will stop, smile, turn her head from side to side -slide her tongue across her top teeth, smile again, and run down the rest of the stairs. She didn't know that I was in the family room one morning and watched her go through the process.
I picked her up from school on Monday, dropped her off at the ortho and had to run home to grab my camera. Can you believe I forgot my camera? I then ran to the store to pick up some fun, sticky, chewy items that she has lived without for the last 18 months. When I went back to the ortho about an hour later, she was mostly done.

Her smile is amazing! I still remember how it felt to get my braces off. Sliding your tongue across your teeth is the best! Keep smiling Makenah!

Looks wonderful. That has got to be the weirdest feeling after so long in braces. I have never had them. But i am sure many of my children will thanks to aaron.
